Here in The Netherlands (and in France) our hydrangeas are called Hortensias These are a slightly different variety - the flower looks like an Oak Leaf Hydrangea variety.
On our bike ride yesterday we stumbled upon this chic little part of town.
I love the way the Dutch embrace colour - colourful home interiors - and they wear colour so beautifully....often white pants with a gorgeous, colourful top. Why don't Australians...???
Here in Amsterdam we are staying - very happily, I should add - at the stylish and groovy College Hotel on Roelof Hartstraat 1 - I am loving the buzz - full of very beautiful Dutch girls and guys in the evenings (and the Dutch are VERY beautiful). My favourite occupation of people watching is completely fulfilled in this environment.
A nightcap in the room - with macaroons!
Rather loved her...
Blogger's corner.
Have seen this a lot - old trees transplanted like this - such a statement!
The Gorgeous man says I don't distinguish between "need" and "want"..... But look at these - perfect for above the dining table at Yackandandah - can you make out.....upside down milkbottles. I HAVE to have....we are still in the discussion stage - will keep you posted. Lx
